Jackery SolarSaga 200W Solar Panel

I bought this for use in spring, summer and fall camping trips.
I haven’t used it yet but my hopes are charge my Jackery 1000v2 in the daylight and use for lighting, charging batteries and I have a small electric heater it work well with. Can’t wait!

Really happy with my 200w solar panel . Shipping went perfectly.

I purchased two of these in a kit with 6KW storage. I tried for days to charge the batteries from the ~30% you receive them in (DAYS). each 2KW batter took 2 days to fully charge. For that I feel like the input power of that kit was unrealistic to use as an emergency backup. Looked to buy 4 more panels and decrease the charge time, as well as pass-thru charge my Teslas. Well even on black friday sale these 200w panels are over DOUBLE that of every competitor 200w panel. WHY???? to make it worse, their splitter cable is $70. competing 8MM splitter cables are 1/10th that price. to go 100% Jackery will break the bank! They are undoubtedly powerful, but not 2X more power. That makes this over-priced. As for the set-up, they are a pain. They are long, and only 2 pick-stand so they sag in the middle. So even if you get the outer two aligned to the sun for max input, the other two are sagging and therefore less efficient. I found that building a stand to hang these from was way more efficient and helped me get the best power from the panels, as sitting them on the ground and realigning multiple times per day as the sun moves was simply a pain. I do like the alignment sight on them, but again it only helps for the one of 4 panels with the sight. The other 3 could still be misaligned and likely are slightly off from the middle sag. If you plan to use them on the ground, I would recommend using some large binder clips to help stabilize the inner panels.

Ultimately I cannot recommend a panel that is 200% market value, even if it were not problematic and even if it were the most powerful on the market, unless that power was 200% of the competitor's panels (but then it is not comparable). Clearly these can be made for far less than what Jackery is making them for, or they simply are price-gouging their customers on these. Jackery, PLEASE consider realigning your panel costs to that of the market.

Perhaps designing the extension to run from the triple adapter to the power station would conserve resources and make it more efficient to connect multiple panels due to proximity issues

The 200 watt works so much better than two 100 W screens the only issue I have is that it is not sturdy on just two legs it needs three legs one needs to be in the middle because the Concurve from non support makes the solar panel not as effective. When I supported the middle so that it was flat all crossed all four panels then I got over 200 Watts from the sunshine the highest I reading I had was 208 w. This is an issue that needs to be addressed by Jackery, but can be adjusted by the purchaser.
