GREAT BACKUP POWER SOURCE

We live in Central Florida, hurricane country. We purchased our Jackery 2000v2 as a backup power source as our whole house generator is a manual operation, meaning it will run our entire house but has to be connected manually AFTER a storm passes and it is safe to do so. Hurricanes last for hours and sometimes days before it is safe to go outside. If the power goes out for an extended length of time it risks the charge on your phones, flashlights, food storage, etc. This unit is a fantastic addition to our storm/emergency plan. Once we received it, we connected our large 18cf freezer to see how long it would run. Impressively, it ran for 28 hours. Charging phones, laptops and especially rechargeable flashlights are no problem. If you're looking for a great backup this product should be your choice. I've offered it to one of our friends who is a local boy scout leader for their next camping trip, he's excited to try it out and most likely will be purchasing a unit as well afterwards.

Great Product !

The Explorer 2000 is ideal. Recharges in less that 2 hours and it ran my GE refrigerator for 15.5 hours without any problems. Perfect!

Huge upgrade

Bought this as an upgrade from my Explorer 300 so that I can use tools and other high power devices when camping or off-roading. This thing is a beast and is probably a little overkill for what I needed, but I like the peak power level support.
