Dewalt 12v battery charged and more imfo

Charged in house on a wall charger in less then an hour. Havent connected the solar panels yet but charged our dewalt 12volt batteries also within an hour and took less then 2% of battery to do so. We did try to charge our hand held battery bank but it kept bouncing back and forth between charging the bank and the jackery so never actually charged it. Ended up getting extensions for the solar panels so we could keep the jackery under cover while the solar panels are in the sun. Already our favoritw new camp toy. Def recommend

I like the way they design they car charging cables. The plug type that use in the port of the device doesn’t burn out like other portable power stations that uses a different port. For example, Bluetti and EcoFlo

Looking forward to using it

Rating a 4 right now as I've not had to depend on it yet, but tested everything out and works as described. Easy and user friendly. The app works great too, and is a handy feature. Absolutely love the way it displays the watts and hours for whatever device is connected. Great useful feature. That way I can decide what devices or small appliances give me the most bang for the buck, and to assemble a power outage kit. I'll re-rate after actual use, but I'm confident it'll be great 👍

Power Outage

The power went out for 4800 customers in our area. I had to remind my husband that we had a Jackery Explorer 1500 v2. It even has a light on the front. Which I showed him. I explained what it will do. He hooked it up to the fridge, toaster, his phone, and I’m not sure what else. He said he was impressed by everything that the Jackery would run. I said that’s why I bought it.

Regret buying direct from Jackery. As soon as I purchased from Jackery and select no marketing sales or giving out my info, immediately my phone has blown up with spam calls. At least 15x a day. I even had to change my call setting to do not disturb to bot hear my phone ring. Blocking doesn't work, they call from another robo number. Will never purchase from Jackery again.

Order and shipping arrived a bit sooner than anticipated.
Our first charge and tests proved ideal for our purposes under normal household charging conditions. We’ve yet to test in the field with our RV utilizing the solar charge option.
We are really excited to test this out as we anticipate a fair amount of off grid camping soon.

The unit has a lot less energy than advertised. First, the 1500Wh is full capacity, but Jackery recommends that it be used between 30% - 80% capacity. That means it only has 750 Wh of useful capacity. Second, the invert consumes power just idling. This is power consumption is small but adds up over time. In an 8 hour period, the idling inverter uses over 20% of the capacity. None of this is mentioned in their description and website. I found out after buying and questioning their tech support. If I had known this, I would not have spent the $1000.

I use my Jackery to power my Starlink and router that use about 35 watts. I surfed and watched movies on my computer while in the middle of nowhere for 7hrs. During the day the solar panels provided plenty of juice to keep it fully charged during use. It is quite cool to say the least. Now for my only complaint, the 120 outlets are to close together to use all three at the same time as there is no room for the fridge. lucky for me I have two jackerys
