Jackery Solar Power

Not being familiar with solar power components, I ordered what I thought was needed without talking to a tech person.
I bought the wrong extra battery for my E2000 plus unit. Also, I then figured out that I needed 6000 WH per day for my emergency use at home which then needed more solar panels, connectors, cable extension and 2 extra batteries.
I drew up my system on paper and identified my order list.
I suggest help videos to go through the entire steps before ordering anything.
I haven't received all my order yet, but am excited to have it completed.

battery addition

the only thing that would make it better would be if you could charge it by itself. But, so far, I'm impressed with all my Jackery equipment. I tested the 1ooo on my frig. and after 6 hours still had 46% power. My next test will be to hook up the solar panels while hooked to frig. See how long it will last that way.

Customer Service comes through, but it shouldn't have to be necessary

The Customer Service group comes through in many areas, but unfortunately it is because the marketing is so disjointed and full of contradictions and inconsistency. Although a Veterans discount is advertised, the ability to receive it is unclear and I found after paying, it was only then the information was displayed to verify and get a code, which could not be applied to the current order. I never did see the information prior to checking out which makes it seem disingenuous. My suggestion is that if you are purchasing several items and are eligible, purchase the cheapest one and then get a code to apply to a second order for the remainder of your order. Also found discounts available to 'members' who are registered while shopping, which required one to click on the offer, didn't work. Items on sale are not eligible for any other discounts and only full price items are included. Just be aware of how to navigate the online shop as constant pop-ups occur which can confuse your experience. Perhaps finding what you want and calling in an order will ensure you get the best results. FYI
