Generally, the Jackery Solar Generator 2000 Plus Kits include all the necessary cables, and you don't need to purchase any extra cables or connectors unless you want. If you buy the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Portable Power Station and Jackery Solar Panels separately, the solar panel order will include all the necessary cables. However, if you buy 4 - 6 solar panels separately, you will need to purchase the connector as well.

Do I Need to Purchase a Cable/Connector in My Order

Whether you need to purchase a cable or connector will depend on your order. Here are the three situations you should keep in mind:

Order in Solar Generator: If you purchase a bundle like the Jackery Solar Generator 2000 Plus (Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Portable Power Station + 2*Jackery SolarSaga 200W Solar Panels), it will include all the cables you need. Hence, you don't have to buy any extra cables unless you have some additional requirements.

Order Separately: If you buy Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Portable Power Station and Jackery Solar Panels separately, the solar panel order will include all the necessary cables to the portable power station.

Connector: You will also get a solar panel connector when you purchase the Jackery Solar Generator bundle with 4 - 6 solar panels. However, if you purchase 4 - 6 solar panels in a separate order, you will also need to buy a solar panel connector.

Jackery DC Extension Cable for Solar Panel

 The extension cable ensures you can place the Jackery Portable Power Station inside the home and conveniently charge it with the Jackery SolarSaga Solar Panels placed outside. It is also ideal for charging the power stations with solar panels in outdoor campers, RVs, and motorhomes.

Jackery Solar Panel Connector

If you want to connect multiple solar panels to the portable power station, you will need a solar connector. The Jackery Solar Panel Connector can connect up to three solar panels to the portable power station in series.

Note: The solar panels that can be connected in the following ways are Jackery SolarSaga 100W Solar Panels, SolarSaga 200W Solar Panels, and SolarSaga 60W Solar Panels.

2 solar panels: No solar panel connector is required.  Alternatively, you can plug two solar panels into one connector like below diagram shows, which can then be connected to one DC input port of the portable power station.

3 solar panels: One solar panel connector is needed. All the solar panels are connected to the solar connector, which is then plugged into one DC input port.

4 solar panels: Two solar panel connectors are required. Two solar panels must be connected to each connector, which is then plugged into a DC input port.

5 solar panels: Five solar panels are not supported to connect to the connector or power station.

 Caution: When you are using two inputs simultaneously, make sure to use the same type of solar panel and same number of panels in each input to avoid any damage. For example, if you are charging the power station with four panels, make sure to input two panels to either side. Here are some connections that are prohibited to charge the power station:

Jackery Adapter DC7909 to DC8020

All the Jackery Solar Panels have been upgraded to include a DC7909 to DC8020 adapter. However, if you have purchased a solar panel without a DC7909 to DC8020 adapter, you can buy the adapter separately and connect it to the DC8020 female end of the Jackery Portable Power Station.

Jackery Adapter DC8020 to USB-C

If you want to charge the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus Portable Power Station with the Jackery SolarSaga 100W Solar Panels or the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus Portable Power Station with the Jackery SolarSaga 40W Mini Solar Panels, you will need a Jackery Adapter DC8020 to USB-C.

The USB-C end of the adapter can be connected to the USB-C input port of the compatible Jackery Portable Power Station. The other DC8020 female end of the adapter can be attached to a DC8020 male end of the solar panel cable for recharging.

Jackery Anderson Connector & Cable

The Jackery Anderson Connector & Cable is helpful for connecting the SolarSaga 100 Prime Solar Panels with different portable power stations. It can increase the system's voltage or current. To connect two panels, you need to attach the male head of the solar panel to the corresponding female head of the Anderson Y Series Connector. If you want to connect four panels, you can connect the 2*Anderson Y Series Connector to the Anderson Y Parallel Connector.
